Last month, Evan started Pre-K. Bill and I were so afraid to let him go. We are so happy we did because he is enjoying school and doing great!

Bill has been extremely busy working on getting items donated from celebrities for a celebrity auction we are planning for some time in 2009. Every day he is handwriting hundreds of addresses on envelopes and mailing out requests. The busier we are fundraising, the easier it is to deal with our situation. Action is therapy. So far we have gotten items donated from many celebs, including Jim Belushi, Tyra Banks, George and Barbara Bush, Gallagher, Mario Andretti, Chris Evrett, Frank Gifford, and Michael Douglas just to name a few. Jenny McCarthy took a special interest in Evan, as her own son's name is Evan. She has been fighting for his cause, (autism as a result of vaccinations). Jenny sent Evan a personal donation as well as some autographed photos.
